Its been crap so far. I haven't witnessed a match which has taken my breath away. Thats due to standard of teams we have and they clumped Group C with three big teams.

Nonsense- Holland vs Italy, Spain vs Russia, Swiss vs Turkey, all brilliant games

The only game which was evenly contested was the last one. The rest have been somewhat one sided especially the Spain vs Russia game. I guess we will have to wait until the knockout stages to see the real quality of games coming through.

Quality football doesn't equate to a great match. In my opinion, a great match is one which is equally contested by two teams at a high tempo, good chances, some goals for both sides, great drama. For me, the Turkey vs Swiss game had a bit of that, thats all.

The Dutch played some marvelous football as did the Spanish but they weren't great games.

I have really enjoyed it so far. I can only think of romania vs. france and the opening match as really poor ones. The rest have been quite decent, getting goals as well. A few on top have been a display of brilliant football.

Italy have played much better in this game. Luca Toni has had the majority of the chances and should have had a goal at the end of the half which was wrongly disallowed for offside (he was two yards on).
