Some decent betting out there. Klose for top scorer. Nuno Gomes good value EW bet as is klasnic if he plays and may look at a few of the swiss.

Most goals in the germany group @ 2/1 is a great bet.

Babel to light up the tourney if the dutch go far.

Everybody writes us off, especially in Poland and going by experience it can only help. Anytime there were any expectation going into tournament we ****ed up ( Argentina78, Mexico86, Japan/Korea02, Germany06) . Best tournaments we had were when nobody gave us a chance. In Germany`74 ( after kicking England out in qualifiers )we beat Italy and Argentina at the group stage and finish 3rd. In Spain`82 after 2 goalless draws we were on the brink of elimination only to destroy Peru in second half and again finish 3rd in the world.

Polish players are very average but play as a team. We probably have no chance vs. Germany but we will park a bus in front of goal and you never know. If Croatia underestimate us they can be in for very unpleasant surprise.

Austria are **** for last fifty years or so and hopefully it will stay this way.

Slokopite, we will meet in WC qualifiers. Best of luck

and u'll beat us without any problems as it seems...our national team are ****e at the moment, well it was ****e all the time apart from the period 1999 till 2002..interesting looking group that aswell 4 slavic nations and northen ireland(+san marino)

they have as good a chance as any and better than most so at 14's it's a great price. No point in betting teams like Germany at 4/1 or Italy/France @ 7's or 8'sin this tourney

Dirk Kuyt staked his claim for inclusion in Holland's squad for Euro 2008 with the opening goal in Saturday night's 3-0 win over Ukraine.

The Liverpool striker has been included in Marco van Basten's 26-man preliminary party but, having been left out of the squad for the friendlies at the start of the year, is still fighting to seal his place on the plane to Austria and Switzerland.

He did his chances no harm though with a fine header midway through the first half before fellow frontman Klaas-Jan Huntelaar doubled the hosts' lead.

Another Liverpool man, Ryan Babel, rounded off the victory after the break.
