The thing about Portugal in comparison to England is the technique of their players, almost all off them are comfortable on the ball, they all have the confidence and techniqe to get pass/past opposition players. Compare that to the England team and you can see why England did not qualify.

When i see an english player try a step over it almost looks unnatural, why have we still not bred it into our players by now, starting at a young age. We seem to do the opposite, taking it out of a youngsters game rather than encouraging it.

When i was about 8 we used to learn all the flicks and tricks, more teams should have been coached that way.
