fah-q what frustrated me about Italy is that they have the players to play an expansive game unlike Turkey, flip knows why they played that destruction football, had they played more i feel they could/should have beaten Spain.
Btw i didn't tell Italy to feck of or call them Cunts.
If we had have played that sort of game against Spain (and I don't think we had the personnel available to last night) I think we would have been hammered. If we had a decent manager and picked a decent and balanced squad to begin with I think we could have matched them without resorting to tactics of old.

Nah i dunno about that, Xavi and Iniesta have not really performed, that leaves Silva and the two strikers (who were well marshalled) as the main threats.
Yesterday you guys missed Pirlo, why didn't they play Del Piero as his replacement though?
Another question is Luca Toni the best Italian striker? if so thats bloody scary.

Glad Spain went through but I felt Donadoni didn't use his squad well, since he didnt start with Del Piero I would have put him on earlier and surely there is someone else then Toni, it was obvious after the group stages this was not his tournament, poor guy, and then Del Piero maybe should have taken a peno earlier. Still glad Spain won though, although thats despite Aragones managing them, he can take little credit IMO.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

No I don't think he is, but he is the most experienced available, Quagliarella for one is much better but largely untried at international level
