    Mourinho back in football

According to the gazzetta della sport (spelling??), Mourinho has come to terms with Inter Milan and will be announced in the next couple of days. Accordingly he will be on a 6-7 mill £ contract for 3(or 4) year contract...

His first buys would apparently be Deco and Lampard.

So he is back in football, gonna be interesting to see how "the special one will do in italy". One thing is sure, it is going to be lively at the press conf.

I think he will do exceptionally well. The Italian league is relatively weak with a number of teams in transition and Inter are in as good a shape as anyone. I think the room and lack of intensity of some of the defending sides there would suit the type of game he likes to play (and both Lampard and Deco - even if i can't see Lamps going to Italy).

      Smart move from Mourinho.

A move to an already successful side with funds to burn. He'll win the league there and be able to continue boasting about his achievements.

So he has chosen another club whose financial might massively outstrips that of his competitors! Where is the challenge in that? They have won the league three years running . The only thing left is the Champions League, but even that would not be an outstanding achievement in my eyes.

If he had been looking to go somewhere like Valencia and build them back up I would have had a lot more respect for him.

yeah, it is defo not much of a challenge to get the championship with inter these days... AC milan have to rebuild big time for next season, juve still in transition after they got relegated and that leaves Roma whom's owners are in serious financial trouble.

He has to win it really...

Had he picked one of these teams, he would have gained more respect. I'm happy we got Benitez. Mourinho bought some horrible talent with his bottomless pit compared to Rafa's tat with short change.

Inter want the CL and he's probably the most likely *available* manager to bring it to them.

                  The opposite of easy IMO.

Even if he wins it's not seen as a great achievement. The clubs he manges at are expected to win. Should he fail to win the title at Inter it will be seen as a massive failure. Should he win it, then people will say that is the minimum and is no great feat.

The same goes for when he was at Porto and Chelsea. The true pressure is when you are taking over teams who are already at the top of the game.

think Inter will be a real threat in Europe if Jose takes over. They are head and shoulders above everyone in Italy and he will look to get in the likes of Deco, Lampard,Drogba, Carvalho to bolster the squad.
