    Maureen is Inter boss

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7431480.stm

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been appointed as manager of Serie A side Inter Milan.

Mourinho has signed a three-year deal with the Italian side in his first job since he and Chelsea parted company by mutual consent in September 2007.

Mourinho succeeds Roberto Mancini, who led the club to a third consecutive Serie A title during the past campaign.

How long before Gerrard is linked with a 40 million move?

Couldn't think of anyone I would like to fail more than him.

At the start of the season he went on about how he can work without money and can sign players within a budget. If you consider the players he did bring in you would have to say that his signings were amongst the worst in the league, but of course the "great man" could never be criticized for signing the likes of Belleti, Pizarro and Sidwell.

In fact, if you look at the players he did sign, most under £15m were complete failures.

            Spending in full

            2007

            Aug Juliano Belletti Barcelona £3.7m

I read somewhere that he'd be given 100 million pounds to spend this summer at Inter, so he sure knows how to pick a job
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Apparently he's re-discovered his form for Sao Paulo.

I watched Adriano play for Brazil the other night. Although Brazil were rubbish and he only played for 20minutes he at least looked determined. Haven't seen any determination from him for a long time so he seems to be sorting himself out and might be a big player for Inter next season
