Overhyped yes, but that doesnt mean he's crap. He's clearly got talent and clearly got potential. Some people have very selective vision. You forgot he scored a lovely hatrick in the final league game. Not bad for a 19yr old who played that game in midfield and was the star of the show

He might go down easily and will take time to get used to the physical nature of the english game but he is still only 19. You can't overlook his age

      What's £5m in today's market?

      Over-hyped? Absolutely
      Badly Advised? Yep
      Talented? Of course

Success? Who fricking knows, worth a punt though.

1 good game in 20 odd starts, scored all his goals in 1 game.

I am glad Rafa wasn't interested, for me he is way to average to make an impact in the PL.

We will just have to wait and see.

I agree. It remains to be seen whether he can live upto the physical aspect of the premiership, but as i have said before, for the initial outlay, not a big gamble.

yup, if he really was a wonderkid then they would have kept him with Bojan.

at least Lucas had shown more potential than Dos Santos.

Lucas looks accomplished but as yet hasnt shown me anything to say he will become a world beater, id say we were looking at another carrick there, whereas santos has the potential to become a Ronaldhino/kaka type player. For that outlay surely it was a no brainer.

This is a perfect example of how ****ed up the english market is that spus can get dos santos for up to £7m and newcastle want the same for james ****ing milner. Worst thing to happen to this country was the formation of the premiership and again was down to MR parry

I thought it was £6m for Lucas. Either way I think he looks to have excellent potential. I'm not fussed at all that we didn't go for Dos Santos.

He'll go on loan to a struggling Spanish side within two years.

                                I think he's that ****.

                                Hopefully I'm right
