exactly - UEFA didn't seem to fussed when the spanish government basically bank rolled the galacticos - was it something dodgy like real madrid 'sold' their training ground to the govt for the land or something for a ridiculous amount of money and then the govt built them a new training ground via a grant

Also they never seemed to bothered that the Prime Minister of Italy was also the chairmen of AC Milan, something i always thought was dogdy - could you imagine if when Tony Blair was pm he also owned United!

Platini is sick of the English/Spanish/Italian domination and is trying to level the playing field to help crap French teams compete in the CL.
