they had this conversation on the radio yesterday

there is no excuse but also i wonder how many people can say they have never driven under the influence

      Terrible story all around

Gutted for the family of the young boys

I hope it will make at least a few people think twice before driving after drinking. There should be zero tolerance on this crime. The legal limt should be 0%

Everyone would know where they stand then.

Personally I can't see the point in having a couple of pints then driving home.

Come to think of it, I can't see the point in having a couple of pints. Many more than a couple is always preferable.
        Oh I don't know.

0% should never be implemented. To do that you would have to ban alcohol, its not a good idea at all. How long does it take to get trace amounts of alcohol out of your system after a bender? Are you saying I should be slammed in jail for having alcohol in my system 3-4 days after a session?

Theres better ideas to be had im sure.

If you have alcohol in your system 3-4 days after a binge then you were pissed for at least 3 days after your last drink and unable to drive

                      Yeah very risky.

Luckily I don't have to drive anywhere in the mornings as I walk to work, and have a lie in at weekends.

If I do have to drive though, I try and keep it moderate, but without breath testing yourself, it's impossible to know if you are OK.

I got pulled over last week driving to work at 8.30 am. The cop told me I was over the limit but he let me off. I had a bottle of red wine the night before.
