My brother and I often argue about Frank Lampard. He doesn't rate him at all where as I do. Yes, he may not be as all action as Steven Gerrard but he's a very underrated player and has helped shape Chelsea to the team they are today.

If he does go he will be a massive loss to them, absoloutly massive there's no doubt about that. But it will be a massive boost to us.

If him, Ronaldo and Adebayour all leave we'll be in with a massive chance at the league this coming year. They are probaly the main the players at their respective teams.

Lets just hope they all **** off.

Looks like Adebayour will be staying though. Still, I don't think he'll top this season to be honest.

Did anyone hear his interview on SSN before. He sounds like George Agdagadawngo.

This story has been denied. Categorically untrue according to Lampards Agent

He isn't actually that fat though is he, really.

I mean for a prem footballer, he isn't really fat.

Where did these stories come from.

Not trying to defend the lad but Fat Frank and Pie man etc.

                        Bit harsh really.

I wish I looked like that and was called a fat *******.

As much as I dislike the ****er I have to agree with you Shanks. Fair play, hes cut there.

Anyway, if he ****s off as is likely its a good thing as Essien and Ballack wont get 20 between them.

I'm not sure that the direct getting 20 from central midfield is the point though. I think that like United won the league this year with sod all goals from CM it is possible to set a team up successfully a number of ways. Lampard ties Chelsea to a particular way of playing and in the last two seasons United have moved beyond them with a more flexible approach.

Chelsea will need to evolve their squad to make the most of it without Lampard but I do think that like when United sold RvN it could allow them to develop an overall more successful way of playing.

That said I do think a year in which potentially United loose Ronaldo and Chelsea Drogba and Lampard has to be viewed as an opportunity to close the gap. The downside is though that both financial giants will be looking for players in the same positions we are.
