I think he did okay at times last year. He seems to be the sort of player who needs games to get to his best. £10m is a lot of money (more than I would pay for him if I was Wigan I have to say) but being a striker in a partnership for a bottom half team is a different challenge to being either the lone spearhead or playing one side of a main striker as he seemed to be asked to mostly last year at Everton.

It will certainly be interesting to see what the eventual fee will be if this does happen.
