i am not sure they did disrespect the club.

can someone explain how they did. I could be wrong but didnt we refuse to give them a bigger cut of a gate or something. Now my view is that a big club should help out smaller clubs. Does respect not have to be earned?

I also agree with that arse Jordan at Palace about the pittance that small clubs get at tribunals. football isnt Just LFC or the Prem there is lots of it and the more healthy clubs the better.

They went about it in a really classless David v Goliath-slanted manner when they really had no right to whatsoever. Also remember the 'getting sacked in the morning' chant directed at Rafa, and when the 'going bust in the morning' jibe was returned there was this pathetic 'that's not on' groan emanating from the Anny Rd end. They were generally quite vicious and unsavoury on the whole. Plus...

Just playing Devil's Advocate really. I'm not overyjoyed about they're being in the red, but then they aren't exactly my favourite club either.

it is a bit David V goliath in football isnt it though? and i am sure that we would do similar chants.

have to agree with the ****e about spitting at Jaimie though. they are not my favourite club at all.

I am just worried by how football is going plus a bit worried that alot of us think anything LFC is automatically right and we can laugh at anyone not us.

I think that they were undignified in the way they tried to extort the gate money from us by portraying us as some miserly super-power trying to keep the little guy down. In reality what they were asking from us was completely unprecedented and unrealistic IMO. They should have been happy enough that they drew a crowd drawing team and, further to that, were able to enjoy a trip to one of the most famous grounds in the world. It's not our job to come to the rescue of a team that has been financially mis-managed. Though, I suppose, a club in their predicament would beg, borrow or steal to ensure survival.

Their fans behaviour was pretty disgraceful, and I can understand an element of bitterness towards the club from our lot but you are correct; it must be one of the most horrible feelings to see your club dissolve in front of your very eyes and have no control whatsoever in aiding it's upturn. We have experienced similar over the last 8 months so it is a bit rich for us to start laughing at another club's misery.
