    Keith Wyness Resigned

What does this mean i wonder???

A terse statement on the ever evasive Official Everton Website notifies Everton fans this evening that Kieth Wyness, CEO, has resigned from the club. No reason given. Nothing. The subject of increasing vilification from the fans over his dubious role in promoting Destination Kirkby, and his incredible double role as a Club Director and private entrepreneur in stadium development, his departure is being interpreted as a strong indicator that the controversial project will indeed be "called in" for a public inquiry

He obvious can't handle the pressure anymore. The bitters don't want to leave town and maybe he doesn't want to be the man to take them to Kirkby. Perhaps he's had hate mail and threats or perhaps the project is failed and he decided to walk

      Everton CE Resigns

      ...from BBC

      Everton chief executive resigns

Wyness has been the driving force behind the proposed move to Kirkby
Everton chief executive Keith Wyness has resigned, the club has announced.

Wyness had been the driving force behind the club's plans to build a new 50,000-capacity stadium in Kirkby, awaiting Government approval.

Planning consent has been received for the stadium but a government decision on whether or not to "call in" the project is expected this week.

Everton say Wyness' sudden exit is not linked to the future of their proposed new stadium.

Wyness had previously voiced fears that calling it in could jeopardise the plans.

But a club statement said: "The club wish to re-iterate our commitment to the Destination Kirkby project.

"The departure of Keith Wyness is in no way connected to that project."

Wyness, after discussions with board members at the weekend, tendered his resignation by e-mail.

It is believed the Department for Communities and Local Government are close to announcing the ruling on "calling in" the stadium project.

Everton are concerned that an inquiry would put back the move for a year and kill off the controversial £400m scheme.

The proposals to move to Kirkby have been opposed by some Everton fans angered by a possible move outside Liverpool's city boundaries.

      FAIL
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
