Inter Fans Already Unhappy With Mourinho
According to 'Sport', Inter fans are already unhappy with new coach Jose Mourinho, and are demanding immediate improvements.
Mourinho arrived as the new coach of Inter earlier this summer, amid great expectations, succeeding Roberto Mancini, who had won three successive Scudetti.
However, the Special One’s start to his reign has not been a particularly smooth one. He has been crippled by injuries in defence, with the likes of Christian Chivu, Walter Samuel, Ivan Cordoba, and now Marco Materazzi all sidelined, and on Tuesday night his side were disappointing in the annual TIM Cup.
The Nerazzurri struggled to interpret Mourinho’s favoured 4-3-3 formation, losing 1-0 to Juventus, and going down on penalties to Milan after a goalless draw.
According to Sport, Inter supporters have been far from impressed with Inter’s performances in pre-season so far, and have told Mourinho that the team’s “robotic” displays must improve immediately.
The Italian press in general have not been blown away by Mourinho, and are continually questioning whether the 4-3-3 is suitable for the Italian league, given the slowness of the game in the peninsula.
Thus it seems as if Mourinho is already under pressure to start producing, a mere two weeks into pre-season.
