Man Citeh fans are seething in their droves on the 'blue moon' board. As I write, they are up to 45 pages in the 'Corluka To Spurs' thread!

There are others too such as '**** Off Tottenham' etc but that was simply too upsetting for my delicate football pallet!

We thought that on the Spurs board but looking at it, he's originally a Central Defender who can play on the right. Must agree tho' our priorities definitely lie in the need for a DM. We're screaming out for one, have been foor years but managers just don't seem to be playing the same game!

I think he'd be a good player for Spurs and would be surprised if City wanted to get rid considering how their defence looked at times last season once they got a couple of injuries.

Guardian reporting Spurs are in for Dean Ashton and had a 15m bid rejcted by West Ham who are holding out for 20m!

From what I'm told by a Croatian friend of mine. Corluka could play centre mid no problem. In the indoor version of the game they play in Croatia, Corluke played as a striker. Very good player. Can't see Citeh selling him though.

If he signed for Spurs he'd probably end up playing most of his games at CB to cover for the perenially crocked King or Woodgate.

Can't see City giving him up without a fight though.

IMO Spurs really need a leader, a strong CM player ideally who can grab hold of a game and really force the play.

Unfortunately for them Stevie G is not available, but might I suggest that rather than spending 25m plus on a CF they spend big on someone like Pirlo (highly unlikely I know) or maybe Ballack?

No but my point is that is the type and calibre of player they need to make the next step. They seem to have the money but should spend biggest in this area IMO.

Corluka played centre midfield against us in the away league fixture last season and played well. Saying that Citeh didn't move out of their half in that game.
