True but Kuyt played as a striker for one and half years. Gutierrez is a winger in the natural sense.

Kiss of death this, but Newcastle have actually looked decent and Utd have looked vulnerable once or twice.

I hope we have a proper go at them when we go to OT this year. We seem to have practically accepted defeat before kick off in recent seasons so hopefully things can change.

Would you call him a better goal scorer or provider playing from the flank? I don't. Gutierrez was playing for Mallorca who performed well last season but in recent seasons they have been average. Kuyt plays for a team which constantly gives him chances

But Kuyt also last season helped create a lot of chances, especially in the last half of the season and he (although not in the league) got a goals for us.

Think we'll finish ahead of United this year. They've looked very average today and second best at times. They've got Hargreaves, Anderson, Tevez, Saha and nani out, but other teams do as well. Everyone else has bought, they've stood still. Honestly think they might finish 4th.

Yeah, he had a poor season, the previous season he scored a lot more and had a very good second half of the season. He also got some important champions league goals.

Yep he did get some Champions League goals for us but what is our priority? CL or the Premiership?
