If we would have done the same then Rodgers would be in the same situation IMO.

I think that he is already is in that situation. Finish in the top four or getting sacked and that isn't fair if you look at the quality we signed this summer.

Brendan isn't getting sacked if he misses out on 4th place you'll be disappointed to hear. A 5th or 6th place finish will be acceptable if we continue to show clear signs of progress and challenge for 4th from the first to last day of the season.

AVB has to deliver CL football. But I think there are some serious questions over his tactics and how he sets his teams up.

If spurs fail to make top 4, i think it'll be down to the team taking a while to gel. It'll be a different set of circumstances to what happened with kenny imo. Spurs have actually got remarkably good value for money this window. Under kenny, it became obvious very, very quickly that we'd basically blown 60+ million

It's well documented my dislike of spurs but fair play to them for the business they have done. At least 1 club is showing ambition to break into the top 4.

Also Arn, it's a LOT more expensive to actually live in London. Money doesn't stretch as far in the capital.

However, I do think it's potentially a valid point to say that London might be a more attractive city to live in than Liverpool for someone with no affiliation to either.

Sorry but they have signed alot of unproven players who have only shown flashes of talent and they have signed them at ridiculously inflated prices. Watch most of them flop and get sold off next summer. Even the players they signed last year turned out to be ****, Holtby Siggurdsson etc etc. Same will happen again

Why I think Spurs know what they are doing.

They will most probably sell Bale for a world record fee and they invested all the money back into the squad plus a little more. Ambition more important than money at least short term.

It isn't a gamble if they sell Bale. They can afford it without any problem even if they miss out on a top four place. It will probably not even be a gamble even if they don't sell Bale because they have a very rich owner.

They will soon move to a new stadium and clearly want to fight it out for the league table even before they move to the new stadium. A top four place isn't enough even short term by the look of it. They want to win the league as soon as possible and is prepared to pay OTT for players to achieve that goal.

If they are fighting it out for the league title year after year then selling out the new stadium won't be a problem even if they up the ticket prices.

They won't have a problem to find a sponsored name for the stadium because they are a top class club playing in London.

In short. The project is almost without any risk at all. It won't cost the club a lot of money and because they now have signed a lot of players, a lot of young excellent talents, they don't need to sign a lot of players in the future every season. Two or three a season will be enough.

They signed up Baldini. A top class signing. How many believe that they would been able to sign up Lamela if they didn't had Baldini taking care of the business? How many believe that Willian would have picked them ahead of us if Baldini wouldn't been in charge of the deal?

Yes, he moved to Chelsea but they play in the CL and offered a lot more money. The russian connection probably also played a big part. They also play in London.

So what about the jewish connection. I had wrong when I said that they probably are the biggest jewish owned club in the world. I'm man enough to admit when I have wrong. This time I had very wrong.

How often have you seen the players they signed play?

We have also signed a lot of unproven players by the way. How much money will Spurs lose if Lamela flops? Say £10m. They will always find someone signing him in a couple of years time for at least £20m.

How much will we lose if Alberto flops? Probably almost the same kind of money because we will almost get nothing then if we sell him.
