I am back and forth, but they also sacked Redknapp for some good finishes and now AVB, with a whole new team, finished fifth and is now six points off second with a favourble fixture list ahead.
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

To sack him? I dont think it was.

They seemed to be in a similar position to us last season, while we were rebuilding. Above Mid Table, losing and winning really inconsistently.

They could have picked up, but now the new manager has to make his way through the Festive period where the games come thick and fast.

So was Redknapp a good manager after all?
        Oh I don't know.

They got it wrong when they sacked Redknapp. They shouldn't have sacked him and it was then a baffling decision.
          Are we winning?

they will be having a liquidation sale at the end of the year. they might re-coup 50-60m of the 100m+ they have spent.

are any of them worth having...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Was he? I seem to remember him making kissy faces at the England job, and then the team just exploding with bad form.

Hard to survive those sort of drubbings (City, us) but they're only 6 points off 2nd. Redknapp seldom had them that close, if ever. And he got them their highest PL points total ever last season. New team, only a few months in. It's crazy really. But good. The more instability the better. Hopefully they get someone unproven like Laudrup in and lurch from one crisis to another.

I don't think he had any clue whatsoever on how to fix them. Look at the tactics. Same old by him yesterday and as someone said, they create **** all.

Like Laudrup. Dont want him to go to that ****hole.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I like Laudrup too but he's totally unproven. Would be a gamble, albeit quite a positive one.

Capello seems to be widely the favourite.

My Spurs mate is adament they will get Klopp.

laudrup looks like he might bide his time at swansea and then move to a bigger club. a decent manager and a great eye for a decent player.

Or there might be deeper issues at Spurs. Their structure, with a Technical Director, seems to have more negatives than positives. It's a similar theme to what we had with Kenny and Commolli, which thankfully we didn't pursue with.

AVB can't seem to get the best of the players he's having to work with currently.
