There's not much separating much of the top 6 on their day but Arsenal and City have dips, and United's luck can't hold.

Feel good about a top 4 min but would have liked some clear air. Can't wait to have Phil back.

Cracking result but knowing Chelsea the spawny cunts will go on another 15 game unbeaten run or whatever the **** it is.

The ****. I put a film on after the second.

There's been some lower league officialdom this year in particular.

If that is true it's more clear something needs done in terms of tech.

            Ridiculous wasn't it.

Was it even mentioned in commentary or questioned by the players?

He's the difference for me really. You take him out of that Spurs side and I think they'd struggle to break teams down.

I thought Wanyama and Erickson were very good for spurs , they cut off Kante and matic and made them defend most of the game.

With Hazard and Costs being kept quiet nobody in that Chelsea teams looks capable of scoring if you ask me.

I hope it's a template for others to do the same.

It was about time someone figured out how to cancel out their 3-5-1-1 formation.

Spurs' energy was very good but they didn't just run around a lot. It was a tactical masterclass by Poch. Conte proving that he has one brilliant way of playing but zero others (as demonstrated at the start of the season when he failed miserably with 4 at the back). He's young and will learn new formations but it may not be in time to help Chelsea in the next few years.

Like gratz said above, Hazard and Costa were kept away from the ball as often as possible. But more than that I liked the way Alli, Kane and Rose kept Moses, Azpi and Cahill occupied at the back. The crosses Erikson put in weren't exceptional and are usually bread and butter for Chelsea CBs to deal with. But the positioning of Rose to keep Moses and Azpi guessing allowed Alli to cease on the indecision and made Azpi look like a mug when the headers went in. Azpi is no mug.

There was a lot more going on obviously to allow Rose to be up there but I would have to watch the game multiple times to figure it out. And I'm not doing that. But hopefully other managers are.

They did seem to suss them out and matched them up well, but the simplest tactic seemed to do the trick - stick someone tall on Aczpiluecuetuataaetea and whip crosses in
Sack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

That's a bit of a myth imo. The Arsenal game was obviously a spanking but they weren't all bad. Had one all of their games previous to playing us. We were immense at Stamford Bridge; much better than Spurs were last night.
