That's an old one, used to comfort fans of clubs with not much cash. It was said when Chavs were taken over, and since then, more clubs have been taken over by rich Arabs, and more will be in future probably.

Yep......been doing the rounds since the turn of the year. The Kuwait one certainly rumbled a bit on the rumour backwater.
There's not many explanations for potentially spunking 32m on 'alright' players like Moutinho, but takeover money could be a factor I suppose.
