I think Bent is decent enough but not to be your main striker.

But it's been a problem with Spurs for ages now. You're too soft in the midfield and defence. Even though you had all that firepower last season you never did enough to back it up defensively. I dunno if it was better when Carrick was there but you've not replaced him properly.

Mmm, Carrick was good but I never really rated him with the players we have had in years gone by. Trouble is, you don't know what you got 'til it's gone...and he's gone.

Also, Carrick, Keane, Berbatov...who else have we sold and not wanted to? I feel like West Spam now....just a patsy club for the top four ****ers.

We're not going tobreak through while we sell them our best players. But then I'm not complaining. Look at Boswell!

Oh...agree on Bent though. Decent target man and can score a run of goals in a flowing side but simply not enough on his own....plus we still begrudge that bloody price tag!

What is odd is that the Spurs hierarchy seem keen to bring in Asharvin rather than an out right striker. Even assuming that Bent is Ramos' first choice you have to feel a backup is needed.

Spurs should really have been flying out of the traps this season but seem hellbent on imploding. Why the **** they did not sell Berba earlier on in the Summer and get new strikers in sooner is beyond me.

I have said all along they need a dominating player in the CM position, but who that is I am not sure. Maybe someone like Xavi of Barca should be targeted? I am sure it will be difficult to lure such a player but that is what they need IMO, aside from another genuine world class CF.
