Spurs sign Pavlyuchenko and Corluka for £22.5million

Tottenham Hotspur have signed Russia striker Roman Pavlyuchenko from Spartak Moscow on a five-year deal.

The club told the Stock Exchange they had signed the 26-year-old for £14m.

Tottenham have signed Croatia defender Vedran Corluka from Manchester City for £8.5m on a six-year deal.

Pavlyuchenko @ £14m is good business, the guy has a real eye for goal, i think he'll do well in the Premiership.

Well Spurs already look a better side with the problem right-back spot being filled by Corluka and Pavlyuchenko added up front.

They're still stuck with the sub-standard Zakora as their only DM yet don't seem to be after one - perhaps Corluka is earmarked for that role?

Another striker still required - SSN 'understand' Spurs have made a bid for Heskey , with Wigan lining up Frazier Campbell as a replacement.
