They didn`t have to fund Torres,Masch,babel,keane,Skittles,Reiradossena etc.They could have sold A FEW to make money for their great company.


Right now we have a PL winning team.

They didn't fund them, RBS and Wachovia did. We'll see what happens if the financial and credit markets continue to crash and their funding source is cut off and what the yanks might do re selling players to make money.

I'll believe we have a PL winning team when we win the PL. We have a talented team and squad, but I still believe we're deficient in certain areas and I still feel Man U and Chelsea are far better built to compete on two fronts than we are. They both still outspend us for quality players too.

We shall see.

Really chuffed for Jol. It was disgusting the way he was lynched. Hope he goes all the way. He even said himself that he may come back one day when the ****heads have gone!

Agree with you about Jol. I've always liked the Dutch and their attitude to football. Part of the problem with the current Spurs team is they all look a little underwieght to me. Bring back Jol and beef them up a bit.

Nice one. I think all the world and their mums can see we have no real leader as such. With Jol, I felt we had one there on the sidelines and the players at least polayed for him. Ramos may be more astute tactically but doesn't have the closeness Jol developed. (With most of them anyway)

The players go out looking a little lost. I think Modric would have started better in a side doing well whereas at Spurs, he seems lost.

I dunno.,..,I waffle. But hopefully, we'll be ok.

I had a "discussion" with a spurs fan and mate of mine last night in the pub and he was saying sack Ramos and it got heated, anyway in the end i ended up wagering £20 that Spurs would be top 6 by the end of the season.

I think Spurs have too many good players to stay down there for long, shame we aren't playing them til November 1st. It's weird though after the pre-season they had.

I can sympathise with Spurs fans cos we saw it ourselves last season how bad a team can look when so many players are out of form. Luton away in the cup, anyone?
