Gareth Bale admits he will consider his future at Tottenham if they fail to reach next season's Champions League.
After spending much of the season in contention for the Premier League title, Spurs have fallen to fifth after winning just three of 14 games.

Tottenham need to finish in the top four to have a chance of qualifying.
The left-sided midfielder told BBC's Football Focus: "If we don't [qualify for the Champions League], I have to discuss what's best for myself."

Spurs are currently three points behind fourth-placed Newcastle but both could still miss out if sixth-placed Chelsea either catch them or win the Champions League.

Bale, 22, said it was "flattering" to have been linked with several of Europe's biggest clubs in recent years but he was focused on helping Tottenham achieve Champions League football again.

The Wales international signed a new deal committing him to White Hart Lane until 2015 during Tottenham's solitary Champions League foray to date.
That run, in the 2010-11 season, ended in a 5-0 quarter-final defeat by Real Madrid.

"I had a taste last season and thoroughly enjoyed it," Bale added.
"Everyone want to test themselves against the best players in world.
"I am still a Tottenham player and need to keep performing for the team."

Tottenham play three of the bottom six in their four remaining games and Bale is hopeful they can recover their form from earlier in the season.
"Hopefully our luck will change," he said.

"We know how difficult it is when a team is fighting relegation [Tottenham were beaten 1-0 by QPR last weekend] but we've got the quality in the dressing room and if we play to our best we know we'll win."

If he wants to leave, then thats fine. However i dont understand why he's gone public regarding this?

I know he wants CL footy, but id love us to sign him or at least be in for him.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Luka Modric may leave Tottenham - Harry Redknapp

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that playmaker Luka Modric may leave White Hart Lane in the summer.

The news comes a day after left-sided midfielder Gareth Bale told Football Focus he could leave if Spurs do not qualify for the Champions League.

"Last summer it was vital that we kept hold of Luka," said Redknapp. "I would be lying if I said I was sure that he would stay [this summer].

"You would like to think Luka would still be here, but you never know."

Modric expressed his desire to leave Tottenham in 2011 and the club rejected a £40m offer from Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

The Croatian played a key role in Spurs spending much of the season in contention for the Premier League title.

But Redknapp's men have fallen to fifth with just three wins from 14 games ahead of Sunday's meeting with Blackburn.

Modric and Bale will certainly leave, plus Redknapp too IMO. Their five minutes in the sun is up

Chelsea will probably be back in for Modric I wouldn't be surprised if Utd move for him aswell

I would guess City will go for Bale

Bale is one of the most overrated footballers out there.

I'd like us to sign Modric. Quality player but never going to happen. Will go to Chelsea for shure.
