Yes it is. Amazing how FSG have succeeded in lowering fans expectations.

Its nothing to do with that, its just football, you get some and don't get some. City have all the money in the world, recent success and yet still couldn't get Isco, Hazard, RVP, Cavani and countless others. Man Utd have been a bit of a laughing stock in recent years for seemingly ****ing up deals like Sneijder and even going back much longer with Ronaldinho and Robben. You should learn to accept it can happen and doesn't mean the club are evil.

They also missed out on Hazard and Moura but the thing with United is you can't really be a laughing stock if your still winning league titles. Just like how they've made some shocking signings but when you win, it just doesn't matter because thats the whole point.

Bale agreed terms with MADRID, reports from Spain say.

Spanish media say Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Tottenham winger Gareth Bale.

Tottenham winger Gareth Bale has agreed a six-year contract with Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain

According to the report in Spanish sports daily Marca, negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs over an acceptable fee.

Los Blancos are thought to have offered around €85million for the Welsh winger, but the White Hart Lane outfit will hold for a figure closer to €100million.

The Spanish giants have made Bale their number one target in the summer transfer market after missing out on Neymar, who joined fierce rivals Barcelona.

It is also quotes the Welshman agent, Jonathan Barnett, as saying: "Gareth has wanted to play for Madrid since he was a kid."

That can only be good for us.

Weakening a rival for top four and probably taking up the rest of Madrid's transfer budget.

              If true of course.

It contradicts my feelings towards Suarez, but I think Spurs will be better off if they sell Bale and invest wisely, so I hope he stays.

As much as I loved Bale’s shoot on sight policy for FF points, it was noticeable that some of his team mates seemed a bit fed up and at times stopped making runs or moving into space as they knew what Bale was going to do. He scored a few wonder goals and a few late winners, but quite often it was against teams they should have broken down much easier earlier in the game.

Similar arguments can be made about Suarez I suppose and if anything the stats suggest that Spurs are dire without Bale and we are better without Suarez, but even at that I want both to stay and am confident we’ll finish above Spurs if they do.

Ideal world, Bale stays and gets injured and Spurs miss out on a big payout.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Not reliable info at all, but a bloke (Paul Breen Turner ) is now saying Ozil maybe on his way to Spurs as part of the deal, and that's what's softened Spurs stance on whether to let him go.

As if Ozil would want to play for Spurs
