Spurs now look set to complete moves for Wilian and Erik Lamela. Anyone would think they were about to come into some money.

Yep, they certainly have done good business this year. Big gamble though that they all gel and make that 4th place.

Iv got a feeling that the inevitable Bale sale will actualy strengthen Spurs. AVB is a decent manager and he has bought well. 3-4 very good players would be better than one Gareth Bale.

No gamble IMO, they are getting top players in.

Gazzetta say Roma need one of Lamela or Pjanic off the wage bill. They claim Baldini (and hence Tottenham) prefers Pjanic. Cheaper option.

Spurs have done some very good business. I can't comprehend how those 4/5 players will not be much more than the price they get for one player who's had one good season.

                    Madness.

Wishful thinking. But Spurs are due a crap season. Not like it has made a difference last 3-4 seasons but they do still have to play in the Europa League.

Spurs in talks over £30m Lamela - reports
Last updated Wed 21 Aug 2013

The agents of Erik Lamela have travelled to Madrid for talks with Spurs technical director Franco Baldini, Football Italia reports.

Baldini is in the Spanish capital to finalise Gareth Bale's transfer to Real Madrid, and is hoping to make the most of his trip by rubber stamping terms on a six year contract for Lamela, who is valued at around £30m.
