Couthinho, Suarez and Sturridge, give me three attacking Spurs players you would swap them with.

Agger, Toure, Johnson and Enrique (possibly Sakho). Would you?

Then in midfield we have a fantastic (but quite old) Gerrard, we have Lucas, upcoming talents of Ibe and Sterling, a much improved Henderson.

Wide areas in midfield we are weak, hopefully something we can sort out in January or next summer.

Nope, I don't believe that one is correct. Spurs agreed to sign him about the same time as H&G took us over. That summer we went on to break our transfer record siging Torres etc, the financial plug took a little longer to get pulled than that. And I'm not sure there was ever much evidence we really targetted Bale.
