They've got Lamela, Holtby or Siggurdson to take his place.

      Absolutely abused by City.

On a minus 3 goal difference now.
        Hello mert.

Spurs have took a right bumming there. They are a poor team and it just shows how much Bale has carried them these past few years.

Lamela has been stunningly bad. Eriksen had a couple of good moments but disappeared as soon as it got physical and high tempo, same in Holland. Chiriches goes from great to **** often in the same move. Capoue fair enough been injured. Soldado completely out of his depth, cant do anything unless the ball is 6 yards out for him to tap in. Chadli is **** and a crock. Paulinho is detested by their fans already because he does nothing but run forward sometimes, I'd have to agree.

Early days but its looking like one of the worst transfer windows in history so far. May get better but I'm going to laugh while it lasts, its just a shame referees have bailed them out a lot this season otherwise they'd be worried about relegation not a CL place.

So who do we want to win against United next week?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Spurs to fluke a win and then go back to being ****e.

Spurs midfield and defence are actually decent despite what happened today their problem is that they have no goal threat or flair in forward areas, Soldado, Adebayor, Defoe, Lennon, Sigurdsson and Chadli are all average plus the supposed stars of tomorrow Lamela and Eriksen have looked dreadful so far. Townsend can be decent at times I suppose.

6 goals from open play in 12 league games is I think an extremely worrying stat if you support Spurs, some may say the new players need time to bed in which is true up to a point but even then they should be doing better than scoring 9 goals in 12 goals.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing another drubbing for them, send them into free-fall. Only if United drop points today though.

Need to see how UTD do v Cradiff.

But right now a 0-0 draw next week sounds good to me, both teams drop 2 points.

Season over, wipe the slate clean and start again.

Not going to slag of any individuals for today's debacle because I honestly think the problems lie throughout the playing and management staff. I honestly think big changes are needed here, not saying get rid of the management but I honestly think this season should be chalked off at this point. Hopefully we have enough about us to avoid getting pulled into a relegation battle, but on this form who can be sure?

On the other hand I guess you could say we've found our level again and that the Redknapp era showed what was possible for this club, just a shame that era ended so abruptly.
                            From another forum!

Spurs won't drub United. No chance.
