Well both. He's definitely not articulate enough at interviews and does not seem to possess the coaching ability to get the best out of his players.

It's still early anyway. He's done a decent job of the wreckage he inherited, but I can't see him cutting it at this level.

you see this is where a new manager needs more than half a season in charge,am not saying he's good/bad but half a season is not enough time to gauge a managers abilities.

Yeah I get that totally but he's a total rookie in terms of coaching, let alone managing at this level.

Did you see their team the other day? Rigid old school 4-4-2 again. Football from the dark ages.

He's the antithesis of Rodgers. The anti-Rodgers.

He'll be gone in the Summer anyway.
The thing is though that rigid 4-4-2s have had a reasonable amount of success this season in the PL. I don't think there is any evidence that he'll go on to be anything other than a solid manager. My guess is that he is on a par with the likes of Redknapp.

I tend to think you are right he'll be gone in the summer and agree he's not anywhere near the level of Rodgers. The thing is that Rodgers had several **** ups before he became the manager he is now - people tend to write managers off more prematurely than even they do young players.

They've spunked all their money so anyone decent coming in will have to work with a modest transfer budget and a bunch of players that may or may not fit their system.

They certainly need a defensive overhaul but so are we and for once, we will be able to trump them with the promise of Champion's League football and a wildly exciting team!

I don't even think he's going to be that good . I think once he's failed at Spurs his managerial career will resemble a car crash. Watch some of his press conferences, they're embarrassing. We'll see anyway.

It's odd - he does come across badly in interviews (not seen any of his press conferences) but journalists seem to like him a lot.

He's good for a quote. That's all any journalist ever looks for in a manager. Good copy. It's why they all worship Mourinho.

He looks like a decent chap. But he's either not the sharpest or maybe the most probably answer is that he's not media trained, like Rodgers for example.

Them signing all those players did us a favour really. Its also left them with a serious problem to deal with this summer.

That's one of the cleverest/funniest things I've seen in a while.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
