    A draw at best.
A draw at Spurs and a loss at Anfield would put us ahead of them on equal points but better goal difference!

One slip up in this race and it's curtains for anyone in the top 4.

It's at Stamford Bridge though so expect Chelsea to win quite comfortably.

Spurs are nowhere near good enough to take points from Chelsea. Much much better team. They barely managed to scrape a win against Cardiff at home, no way will they have anything to offer in a match at Stamford right now.

I'm hoping that by the time they get to play us it'll be entirely moot as the gap will be 10+ points.

Assuming we win all our game, we'd be one point ahead in that scenario.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I admit I still keep an eye on their results, but really we shouldn't worry about them. They're garbage. They'll finish over points behind us by the end of the season. Nothing to worry about.

Perhaps it's Arsenal that really should be looking atm?

Oh how that would kill the Gooner fans if it was Spurs who knocked them out of 4th

If the current form continues it will happen. Arsenal need to step up the game again.

Spurs have been pretty good at eeking out 1-0 home wins, and they have a decent away record, but have they beaten anyone of note? They have some tough games coming up against teams above them in the table and I think it's in these games where their lack of quality will really tell. So far this season they have been battered twice by City both home and away, beaten twice by Arsenal at the Emirates in the league and cup, completely demolished by us at home. Even West Ham hammered them at WHL. I can't see them getting much at Stamford Bridge unfortunately, however much that would suit/help us. Tactically Mourinho and Chelsea are much more astute than Sherwood and Spurs, they are better organised and simply have more quality in their ranks. If Spurs manage to even get a point there I will be pleasantly surprised.

Well let's hope for a point then. It would put them under some pressure, especially if we beat Man Utd!

Was anyone else happy they won on the weekend? 6 points behind Arsenal with a potential six pointer coming up, plus a much harder imminent run of games for Arsenal.

It will certainly make it fun watching both teams fight for 4th place - again.

We really should have 3rd at least done and dusted by mid April. Would avoid an unwanted CL qualifier too. Entirely our own fault if this season goes tits up. It's not going to though
