Neither side are exactly brimming with confidence. I'm guessing it'll be a draw, which will suit us just fine.

Spurs seemed to have no plan whatsoever, no discernible style of play, but I totally agree that Benfica look a really good side. Tactically brilliant and full of good players. They broke with such speed. Markovic - who's been linked with us - and Rodrigo in particular looked class. Great side to watch.Originally posted by danperkins View PostBenfica are good side and made Spurs look poor. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

No matter about whether he has the tactical or coaching chops for the job his response to pressure has been awful. Perhaps part of the problem is he is too emotionally involved at Spurs but he doesn't seem capable of thinking or reacting once riled."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Still love this post from AugustOriginally posted by Arn View PostHe could be but I doubt that.
I rate Lamela as a better player than Bale
I think that he will end up at Real Madrid/PSG/Monaco in a couple years time and Spurs making a big profit.

Not sure what the numbers say - though I know last night was Sherwood's 7th defeat already - but sacking AVB looks even more ****ing stupid now. LOL. Hammerings v us and City apart, his record was good. How stupid would you have to be to think Timmy ****ing Sherwood would be a better manager than Villas-Boas.
