For all of Levy's business savvy, he gave Sherwood an 18 month contract when deep down, he was only there to see them through to the end of the season.
Sure, it can be seen as a golden handshake and he'll get a pay-out when he steps aside in the summer, but it makes Sherwood look an even bigger knob than he is. Especially after all his chat about how he'd walk away if it was a temporary position and parping about his ability to any media outlet that would listen.
Fackin amateurs.

Louis van Gaal had most of us excited when it looked like he might be coming here, but that was a couple of years ago. He's two years older now - 62 - so it can hardly be an appointment with a view to the long-term. He's also a ****ing lunatic, and you wonder how he'll get on working with Levy....two spiky characters. Should be interesting. Hopefully it'll be a total catastrophe. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

On the flip side, Van Gaal is one of the few world class managers around & it's a massive coup by Spurs to get him. It maybe short term ism by Spurs, but after this seasons disaster, I think short term is what they need. In all likelihood they've missed the boat with Martinez, and Pocchetino I believe is unlikely to move there. They're not an elite club so can hardly go and drag a top manager away from another club.
All that said, I feel Frank De Boer could be about ready to move on. I'd chance my arm with him if I was Spurs.Forwards.......
