I don't think I have ever been as wrong about a player as Harry Kane. That said, I don't think so many people have been so wrong about a player either! I can't recall anyone else having such a career turnaround as him.

have to agree 3 seasons ago he was on the bench in the championship for Leicester on lon.

Even when he was scoring for Spurs at the beginning the Spurs fans i know said it wouldn't last probably Akin to how we would feel if Neil Mellor had scored a few for us in the first team.

Last 2seasons..... 46 apppearances scored 44 goals!! I have even finally succumbed and put him in my FF team .

He's not amazing at anything, except for scoring goals..! Not that skillful, not that quick etc. Just seems to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time.

I think he's amazing at more than just scoring goals though, his link up play is sensational, he scores all kinds of goals too. Tap ins, screamers, headers - he's the complete striker.

6 hat tricks in 2017 is an amazing stat.

Kane reminds me so much of Alan Shearer. Never stops working, strong on the ball, brilliant finisher and has a hammer strike of a ball. He's an outstanding striker.

Shearer in his later years yeah, young Shearer was a completely different beast! He managed to be world class with 2 completely different style having came back from a knee injury, not many players did that 15 years ago.

I think why Kane is under-rated or at least was for a longer time is that he doesn't have any stand out attributes or personality traits. Some of his game play is actually pretty easy to not like too, such as him shooting from anywhere when there are better options. But no doubt he's one of the best strikers in Europe now... Somehow

Even Alli missing other day didn't have an affect, they still appear to function when key players are missing
