I don't think these are anything special, but what they do have a is really well balanced team. Solid at the back. Good in attack. And an absolutely clinical striker.

On our day I'd say we're the better side, but in terms of consistency they're way ahead of us I'm afraid.

Their back five/six, is lightyears ahead of anything we have, Eriksen's output matches Coutinho's, Wanyama, Dembele are also effective midfielders and then they have Alli and Kane upfront, who are putting up numbers we would be happy with, they are a bloody good side and better built IMO.

Nope. I don't think Wijnaldum offers title winning form, for example. Liverpool have way more issues to solve than just bringing in a central defender and centre forward. Who's to say Kane wouldn't struggle with what Klopp would ask of him systematically? Or Vertonghen?

Nah, add Alderweireld, and Lloris to our defence, and drop Eric Dier into the DM role for us.


Dier is not flash, but he is effective and tends to stay switched on with regards his positioning.

Just those three dropped into our current squad would go a long way towards easing some of our regular issues.


Kane I do rate as a top class striker, but our attack is bloody good as is, so would prefer to add steel/quality to our backline and centre instead if all we could add were Spurs players..

he has signed about 5 in the last couple of years The reality is unless they have success they will lose there best players unless they start paying them more.

Kane has established himself as the top striker in the country, his wages should be on par with the league's top earners. He won't be on £100k for much longer.
