Pochettino is on £165,000 a year which makes him Spurs' highest paid employee!

Also, he's reported to have a £150m transfer budget this summer too.

Coupled with the fact Real Madrid never keep managers for the long haul, he'll most likely stay and wait for the right time to move.

Yeah Madrid change their manager every couple of years but it doesn't seem to put people off going there. If he is their number one target they have probably already put feelers out to his agent to sound him out, and Madrid usually get their targets.

It might be in Spurs interests just to let him go (if that is what he wants) if you are losing your manager it's best to do it early in the summer.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                      But we have S-RED claiming it's a mere £165 a week.

Unfortunately he also reportedly said at the same event

"I'm very happy at Tottenham,” said Pochettino. “It would be disrespectful to Daniel [Levy] for me to force a move. I’ve just renewed with Tottenham and am happy."

Spurs aren't going to let him go without a fight so I don't expect Madrid to have an easy ride on this.
                              Are we winning?

The Madrid job tends to come up about every 18 months so even if he doesn't push for it now he'll know that unless he blots his copybook significantly it will still be an option in the (fairly near) future.
