Atmosphere was terrible from the first kick to the last. They’ve literally only got one song.

Fortress WHL didn't last long.......... 0-1 followed by 0-1; teams will be ****ting themselves going there, with or without piped in atmosphere

What you mean the song they blatantly stole from southampton.

Their support is an embarrassment, like they have won a raffle these last few years with Poch; once he goes they'll be battling wolves, leicester & maybe everton for 7th

The ball went out for a spurs throw in towards the end, and Dele Alli started trying to pull the ball from the Ajax player to speed things up, then he looked for throw in options, gave up and handed the ball to a teammate to take, slowing things down even further. Weird.

What were they thinking sending Vertonghen back in the pitch? That's got to be looked at by UEFA.

Absolute disgrace by everyone concerned. Football needs to have a proper look at HIA protocols and layer wellfare has to come before everything. There should be fines for sending a player back on in that state its embarrassing.

He was absolutely spark out on the pitch blood pouring out of his head. "Clean him up, new kit ask him if he is ok and back on the pitch". Not even sure what the physio was doing with him?

It was so severe he was sick on the pitch his legs went when he went off.

Head knocks clearly need an independent doctor to oversee them. And you should get a free sub to replace HIA's.

Looked quite distressing for Vertonghen watching that, the missus and I couldn't believe what we were seeing. I hope he's OK, not nice at all seeing things like that.

Yeah it looked really bad. He basically collapses on his feet and has to be carried off. He definitly passed put there.

It should never have even been a question of him continuing.

We are getting everything right these days, but look at how the Fabinho injury was handled. No blood, player wants to play but decision is taken out of his hand because of the knock.

That is putting player welfare front and centre.

I now agree with the free sub for HIA injuries.

What makes ot worse is you can clearly see the ref making point of asking is he ok to carry on before they let him back on.
