I always wondered when their contract deals would catch up with them. It seems like now is the time.

Clearly there's quite a few that aren't pulling for the team. Eriksen etc and that's never great for morale.

Spurs are being battered by a team that was sitting on relegation before this and barely any criticism of them.

Shouldn't surprise too much. They're a small team and in the last 25 years they've only won a couple of league cups. Going from being able to compete unsuccessfully to not competing at all wouldn't be that shocking.

hate to say it, but Fergie was good at keeping Utd’s squad fresh by adding one or two key players every year.
