Thanjk you.

I don't think it's a terrible appointment. Mourinho is a great manager and he could turn Spurs to winners if he gets his way and the players adopt his tactics.
Yeah, this could unravel but I would think Mourinho would be a bit wiser now. I expect them to do much better than what they've been doing over the last few months. They are better than their current situation.

It would be difficult for Mourinho to not improve them. Not sure where it went wrong for them. Maybe the wrong focus on CL instead of the PL. Lets face it they put a good shift in against us recently. In all honesty they should be above not below the mid table mancs
2.5 years doesn't suggest it's a plan for the future appointment.
It's a club in transition. The players have been together too long and some of them clearly don't want to be there, and presumably won't be next year: Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Eriksen anyway. Rose looking out as well.
Mourinho kmows how to get good CBs and play off a big striker but I'm not sure where the money comes from.

Money comes from the world record profits I should think.

Makes a nice headline but its not a lot of money for a club not in the CL, paying off a manager and having to replace players before actually adding to the squad.
They have a healthy income from the stadium alright that'll serve them well in the long term however.

And the TV revenues. Stadium has been refinanced over a longer period too, so that's not affecting them as much going forward.
They're loaded.
The only question is whether they will let Mourinho spend it. Poch didn't get that chance it seems, and perhaps he'd still be there if he did. Who knows.

Short term thinking in the extreme (Spurs not you)

That's the odd part in all this. Why the hell not back the man you've got, before blaming him for not achieving? I'm not happy about the possibility of Pochettino going to Man U
