Originally posted by S-RED View Postwith three years left on his contract, he is a bit screwed unless psg or mancs are desperate.
Levy isn't gonna budge on price (unless there is a stupid swap deal, i.e .Kane for 50mill + 2/3 players).
Also, Kane will forego a big amount of wonga if he hands in a T/R, so the wages at his next club would need to be astronomical.
Injury prone, 27 & with better options/VFM out there IMO; ts a big risk for any team, unless that team is someone's plaything.........

will be interesting. I think Kane is very good but listening to Darren Bent and Ally McCoist on talksport this morning (i know) it is almost like anyone who signs Kane is guaranteed the title next year. He is a hungry goal scorer but listening to them, you'd be wondering why Spurs have not won multiple trophies.
I'm not sure City would pay the kind of money that Spurs would want. Having said that, they paid 50mil for Kyle Walker!!! Surely if Kane wants to win things, then City should be his preferred move. If he stays there for 3 or 4 years, then he would be pretty much guaranteed half a dozen or so medals.
United have just given Cavani another year contract. Wasn't he on something stupid like 400k per week??? It is possible that they would say "**** it" and offer Kane something stupidly similar. Probably more than City would pay. If I was 28 years old, and the official reason was to "win trophies" but if someone like United was going to pay him 75/80mill over 4 years - whereas City would be looking at something closer to 50m over 4 years, then that is a lot of cash to leave behind you.
If he goes to United, he would still score goals but I wouldn't be surprised if he fell out with the likes of Fernandes. Probably over the first penalty they get awarded (so on the first league game of next season). Would be funny if he went to United and still didn't win any silverware.

If he was at Utd he'd probably get a penalty for falling over Fernandes!!!!Originally posted by frank the tank View PostIf he goes to United, he would still score goals but I wouldn't be surprised if he fell out with the likes of Fernandes. The difference this time is I think Spurs may have to sell him. Massive outlay on Stadium, Covid and lack of CL. Levy may have no choice than to take what the market dictatesOriginally posted by Scratch View PostI think he will still be at Tottenham, as no one will pay the asking price this year, after a year of debts and deficits and Levy will not let him go on the cheap.

nah, they have huge reserves; no way will he go cheaply.Originally posted by Gray View PostThe difference this time is I think Spurs may have to sell him. Massive outlay on Stadium, Covid and lack of CL. Levy may have no choice than to take what the market dictates
In reality when you look at spurs, after Kane the only player you would get a decent fee for is Son; so looking at it from levy's POV he has to hold firm when selling the crown jewels

Think if City wanted to get a long term replacement for Aguero then Lautaro Martínez would be a cheaper bet. Kane is better now as he is the finished article, but Martinez is good to very good right now and improving season on season in his play.
Having said that I would love to see us get Martinez and play him as the central attacker in our front three.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

The Manc clubs make more sense for Kane to end up at one of them, but I have a feeling Chelsea will go in for either him or Lukaku.
Something about Kane makes me think he is not the type of striker Pep would try to buy.
Would not be surprised to see Chelsea try to offer something like 50 m + Abhrams for Kane. Hell why they are at it they might try 50m + Pulisic for Son
Poch at PSG might be another that is interested in him, but I would be shocked if Kane would move to a club outside of England.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Not sure this is such a good idea from Harry Kane, a conveniently timed interview where he sets the cost of his own transfer at a minimum of £100m
I don't think Levy will like this at all.

Personally I think this is the wrong time for Kane to leave Spurs if he wants to win trophies, next year probably represents their best chance of winning a trophy for a while, and a European one at that, as the look nailed on to qualify for the UEFA Conference League.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
