Lukaku staying - he said it yesterday himself. They’ll get what they need from selling Haikimi

Must be just like one kick in the balls after the other being a Spurs fan.

Gattuso quit Fiorentina after 3 weeks - rumour was Mendes (Gattuso’s agent) wanted to sell a bunch of his players to them and they didn’t want that.....Gattuso would be as mental as Rafa to the Ev

                  Gattuso

He'll be box office for the 3 months he's in the job.

Spurs would be as well to appoint Rafa.

Can only assume Levy has told prospective managers Kane is off and they're getting 75p to rebuild the squad

Rafa would be brilliant for Spurs...... especially if they kept Kane. Eventually Rafa would end up fighting with Levy about transfers......but he would quickly make them stronger defensively

                        Gattuso ruled out.

Spurs have really ****ed this up haven't they... it's awesome to watch.
Not many decent managers out there so surely Rafa must be on that list.
I'd prefer Fat Sam or even club legends like Glenn Hoddle, Chris Hughton, Sol Campbell or Klinsmann... just to watch the meltdown after a disastrous start to the new season...

Fat Fwanky Lampard would be a great shout too...!

Yep, Levy has ****ed it. Stalling on contracts, refusing to sell for realistic prices, all hailed as admirable at the time, lead to a lack of options for Poch in the transfer market. Some investment to consolidate their top four position would have paid back in spades, and now they’re out of Europe and scrambling around for a manager who’ll accept severe financial constraints. It was always the risk, putting so much into the stadium, but it seems to have gone as badly as it could have.

Well put - hindsight is a great thing but sell to buy is a key driver for many clubs.......us included. I thought they’d cash in on Kane, Toby, Alli, Erickson etc and either still there or left way below market rates
