Valencia's vice-president Fernando Gomez is tipped to meet Joaquin's agent on Tuesday to discuss the offer from Blackburn.
However, Joaquin's team-mate Alexis believes that the former Real Betis star, who was left out of Spain's Euro 2008 squad, is not looking to leave the Mestalla.

"In the dressing room he is always the same - cheerful," said Alexis in AS.
"I do not think we have any problems.
"He does not want to go, he is very happy in Valencia and I would not want him to leave because to have a person like him in the dressing room is a joy.
"I get along very well with him.
