3 matches in one weekend for you is prob the equivelant of one for the pro.

you do 10 mile of aimless running about after the ball to no avail...

a pro would cover 10 mile of educated, cunning, timed runs benefiting their team

      simple really

how will you cope ??? youll be ****ed, id be dead
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

        - no free and single! - ****ing hell there is no chance my ex would let me play that much - she ****ing moaned when i played 5 a side once a week and then one game every sunday!

its great having all that spare time but it's going to be a ****ing killer! - it wouldn't be too bad if it was spread a little but to play 3 matches in 3 days (fri/sat/sun) is going to be ****ing hard work! so looking forward to when they have all been played!!

aye - but the pro is getting ****ing £££'s to do it, gets to go home to their luxury houses, jump in the pool/sauna/jacuzzi, get professional massages and treatment, and doesn't have to drag his arse out of bed the next day and into to the office everyday 9 till 5!

              cock

I'd be happy being sub for a few of them.

Problem is - the saturday team is more serious, better standard, and i want to do well as we are going to win things - but sunday league is my local pub, all my mates play for them, I basically started the team 3 years or so ago and was player manager for two seasons till i got fed up and binned it off - this year we have another fella managing it - but guess what the cunt has gone on holiday for the first five games of the season (one of which we played sunday just gone) so who was left in charge! - ME, so i can't exactly **** off sunday and let all my mates down either!!

The good thing tho - being manager for the sunday team - if i don't have to (ie we have 11 others!) i won't start

you can play for both teams no bother??.

i take it one team is a fairly serious league ie registered.

the other one a bit of craic between a few local pubs ??

starting back indoor thursday, thank ****

No both teams are proper teams in proper leagues

The saturday is a better standard, a bit more serious tho not too over the top as i couldn't be doing with that - but we have our own pitch, which has barriers/boards round it etc so noone else can use it - we have a 1st team, reserve team and youth team - afternoon kick offs etc. They are actually building a new ground, which will a better pitch, prob a small stand for 100 or so with a astro turf pitch/floodlights for training, and a proper dressing room/social bar set up - apparently that will be ready for the start of the next season!!!!!!

Sunday league, - this is more "Sunday league football" haha - it can get serious, it's a ****ing rough game at times - most teams are pub teams, but it's proper park football - we have a "home" picth that is shared with prob 10 other teams haha, all the pitches are ****ing ****e, the ball just gets ****ing hoofed in the air, 99% of the people playing are still pissed/hungover, it's a pretty **** standard - but the league is a proper league - there is three leagues - A premier, which is decent, first which is ok, and the 2nds which is ****e - We folded last season, but re applied this year so we are starting at the bottom should be good as we are looking for promotion and a cup.

To put it into perspective - the saturday team played the sunday team in a pre season friendly that i organised ( i played a half for both) - the saturday team cruised a 6-0 win

I used to play for Saturday league team, a Sunday league team then was a member at 2 golf course clubs so played once on Saturday and once on Sunday, played football everyday during the week and one practice at the driving range.

That is madness. I suggest you drop the 5-a-side for a couple of months mate. You'll def get injured if you play 5's twice a week on top of all that and work!!
