I think he is a bit slight in build for Rafa, our key players are almost all pretty tall and/or powerful, Mascher is the exception but he is powerful and crazy.

Babel, Kuyt, Gerrard, Torres and Keane can all put up a good fight don't know if Capel is tough enough?

Capel is very small, but he seems to hold his own. Most fast players are small anyways, its just the way it goes. you can have a team of 6ft + cloggers or a smaller team that will run them off the park....i know what id have, and rather watch

Capel and Marko Marin would be my choices for the LW.

I actually dont quite know why we are talking about the LW now though.....Babel did a very good job last season for his debut. We should be giving him every chance to impress again.

just goes to show that the basics of football remain the same - good technique and be comfortable on the ball, pass, move, one touch, have people who can cross the ball, get your midfielders forward. it's actually upsetting.

Its very very strange. Maybe the release clause IS only for spanish clubs like 'JPK' says. If so it makes it understandable, as Del Nido drives a hard bargain...and will bleed any foreign clubs dry before he lets his players go.

Still he's a better option than Riera and Downer
