i appreciate its difficult but that is why we pay scouts

at the money quoted for the 4 mentioned i would actually "chance" joaquin

he looked a world beater a few years back but imo you would get him cheaper than any of those mentioned in this thread

So Joaquin is the answer, hmmmm maybe, ok as you say he looked a world beater years ago, but say we get the other Joaquin, the lazy moody Joaquin, the total waste of money one, big risk.

With Downing as with Barry we know what we get, with as little doubt as possible, not so many silky skills, but effective at what they do, and if what they do is what we need then that can only be good.
