i know its hard but out of the people mentioned id chance swp or lennon simply because whenever i have seen them they have shown attributes that, if consistent, we would love and that would improve us immensely. Both are young and id hope given regular football, a step up in level and better coaching could really push on. Its hope and potential but id still take that over barry and riera and even wakeen any day.

        No it really doesnt.

Mascherano and Tevez were deemed not good enough for the hammers, especially mascherano.

It means **** all, I see a lot of talent there and its a position that we desperately need to fill with someone like him. It could well be him thats needed, but its unlikely we will ever find out eh.

That is not true. Masch was not playing for West Ham because if he played one more game it would trigger a massive payment clause.

            Do pay attention

Tevez was voted their player of the season and got a move to Man Utd off the back of it.

Mascherano barely played with all sorts of dodgy rumours about his contract and Joorabchian linked with a takeover, it was nothing to do with being deemed not good enough.

By the way, it's a bit strange to be talking of SWP as "potential" he's 27 soon.

SSN reporting SWP agent rules out move to Bitters or City.

He doesn't want to join either of them and we are now discussing the next move to see what we do," said his agent Wayne Lindsay on the Daily Mail online.

"Because of all the problems there [City] and the uncertainty surrounding the place he is unsure.

"He is speaking with the manager [Luiz Felipe Scolari] at the moment but he is settled in London.

"He would like to stay and that's the bottom line but it is up to the manager.

"We are looking at all the options really at this moment in time so I can't really say much more."

Doesn't say anything about Everton but I suppose he doesn't really need to.

Ian Wright just said on Talk Sport he doesn't see how his agent can say that (above post), because SWP hasn't made his mind up yet...4 clubs in for him, so he will choose, and it's happeneing now he reckons, negotiations are afoot.

just got in and was about to post this

sure Wrighty would point him in our direction, he's always seemed to have a soft spot for us

                              could do alot worse imo

                              Keep this quiet
if you carefully grind off the edges of a 50p coin you can use it as a 10p

I hate that tosser Ian Wright. He sounds even more annoying on radio than he was on TV. Tries way too hard to put on a cool, hip bad boy image. Grow up your 40 not 14!
