Beg your pardon but apart from six years in the army I have lived on Merseyside for 58 years and attended my first match in 1962. I know a great deal of Evertonians and I refuse to call them anything else. Engage gear before opening gob please.

he's taking the piss mate - basically everything bad that has happened to Everton always seems to be Liverpools fault, and they still blame us for them not winning the European Cup - cause they reckon it's our fault that EVERY english club got banned from europe cause of heysel, and that if they hadn't of got banned, they had the best team in europe and would have won the european cup - and if they had won it, they would still be a major power house in europe today and bigger than man united and real madrid combined.

the song is taking the piss cause everton fans, don't blame it on their **** team, don't blame it on their **** stadium, don't blame it on their **** fan, they blame it on heysel

I feel sorry for Moyes actually as he has done an outstanding job for them (even if he can be a bitter tosspot) but been let down by his board and is now hitting a bit of a glass ceiling.
not the only manager on merseyside to feel let down by the board.

                Comment on the BBC:-

"Typical that for Everton. Maybe now we will show Liverpool what they should have done! Bring it on."

                      RUMOUR ALERT!

I have just been told by a lad I play footie with, he is a an accountant at some big firm in town and heres laods of things re football (everton/liverpool)

Apparently the 'UNDISCLOSED' transfer fee for Louis Saha, is just the money United still owe (or potentially owe) Everton for rooney. If you remember, when united signed rooney there was all kinds of add on fees included - well apparently they have all been cleared now in exchange for louis saha

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
