That's not the point. The way how we have been playing this season is secondary to the ownership and financial situation.

Even if we were playing like 1970 Brazil, we would still be in a ****ed up situation as we are in now. If you don't see that then fair play to you.

As far as the yanks go, we have no idea what is happening behind the scenes as far as Rafa and they are concerned, i don't imagine it's been plain sailing for him somehow.
Agreed again. We have no inside info, but from the info that has been made public we seem to be ****ed (in terms of trying to retain our status as a big club).

If these guys buy Citeh, wont that make them officially Wealthier than the scum, they wont like that, would be like DIC buying the Bitters.

just been announced on ssn that city are in for berbatov today???
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Even when sides like QPR,....... ffs i cant believe i'm saying this, but when sides like QPR make the Prem, even they will be able to spend bigger and more freely that us the way we are going if we are stuck with our present owners, and i doubt this is the last takeover we'll see.

Oh I see it alright but I don't think our focus should be on our owners nor should it ever be.

Cant agree with that, when the club is in such a dire state the focus must for that time be on the owners.

To the detriment of our results? All this club ownership business is a new one. I support the team and just hope that everything goes right, I don't see anyone taking any action.

Who's to say it would be, the thought of getting shut of our owners might actually inspire players.

The players should concentrate on the game and not worry about off field bollox, it's not as if we're going in to administration and they may lose their jobs or not get paid. I think blaming off field stuff is a poor excuse served up by people with little or no excuse.

Thaksin will sell as his £ms are now frozen assets and he needs the money, it'll be interesting to see how the Abu Dhabi group run the club as this could be the yardstick for DIC/Sheikh future ownership.
                        We come not to play.

That's so easy to say, players should concentrate on football, but as well as being footballers they happen to be human too, and controlling emotions isn't always that easy. Remember what news of Ferguscums pending retirement did to the Scum players, they too should have just got on with it, but they couldn't, it affected them.

As i said before none of us are in possession of all the facts as to what it's been like behind the scenes at Anfield, so i just think it's to easy to say...It has no affect whatsoever on the players, just play and do your job..end of. They have children in local schools, some will be intending to spend many years of their lives here, so any uncertainty must be taken into consideration. imo.

Also if players like Torres etc start to feel Rafa is in Danger of losing his job, wouldn't you expect them to start thinking about what it would mean to their own future, i know they'll go out on the pitch with the full intention of doing their job, and doing it well, but the sub-concious is a powerful thing, it can have an affect without you even realising till it's to late and you look back over your performance.

Yes they are better off than us, will always find schools for the kids, and will have cash to settle anywhere they go, but it doesn't stop them thinking about what's best for their family. And if LFC turns into a drastically different club, consumed by uncertainty, to the one they joined, then they must have thoughts about it, surely.

If though you are correct and our play isn't anything to do with this, i can see a time, if the club keeps swaying from one ownership cock up to the next that it will become very prevalent in players thoughts.

Well now...did i get enough excuses in for the lads and Rafa there.

Ah well i'm happy for the points, we're joint top with the Chav's and Arse, so hopefully that will give the players confidence to kick on, but i just get pissed off as hell when i even think about those two ****s H&G, it's not meant to be like this, not at LFC, why cant they just piss off away from our club.

This wasn't my point. The point is the ownership situation is worrying and REGARDLESS of how we are playing that situation remains the same. The information that is in the public domain suggests that in financial terms we will be falling further and further behind and now we have Man Citeh as the new Chelski.

So hypothetically, if we see evidence that we will be another Leeds we should not make it our primary focus as fans?

Could what these people do to Manchester City be used as a bench mark to what we could of expected from DIC?
