Lets be honest about it.These lads have shown the way to go to Dubai.They wanted the club and they paid the price that was asked for it,no fuss,no drama, just pay up.They were quoted a price and since money is no object they paid it.This course of action has been open to DIC who are similarly wealthy but they haven't bothered to follow it leaving us and the Club in a quandry for many many months now.

DIC aren't entirely innocent in our predicament as it now stands.

Think it's more about the amount of times Rash keeps saying it.

The two situations are entireley different though. Citeh were DESPERATE to sell, Shinawatra is completely screwed and is likely to spend a long long time in prison, all of his money has been frozen by the Thai government.

Unfortunately for us Hicks & Gillete are not quite so desperate to sell and are holding out for a huge profit. Im not saying DIC are 100% innocent, but the two situations are very, very different.

Different yes but the fact remains they could now be our owners if they really really wanted to be.And they've been quite vocal when it comes to professing how much they really really want to own us.They offered 60 million profit,the yanks wanted 100,hardly a big difference if you have it and you really really want something

Edit: just to add Shinawatra had his money frozen,apparantly the yanks don't have any spare(or don't want to give us it) and so could well be heading for desperation stakes too,hopefully
