I've first posted it publicly and got absolutely rollocked for it.

It was an e-mail I received from a close source of a potential investor/s.

They had to delete it ASAP, and from then on, I posted via PM's about anything I had.

I try to keep a low profile on there, but then I had a bust up with the mods, and they thought I was bull****ting, yet Shankslegend comes up with the news after I had posted a vague summary with no mention of who the investor was via PM's.

Well if the mods ok it post it on here or what you know without getting you in the ****.

Coop, at long last. I've been reading your posts for so long, and they've been good.

I see you're not too impressed with Shankslegend and his record from what you were saying on TLW.

He has to keep his info to himself, because much of what he and cowtownred had was very very sensitive, and had legal implications. However, he may have been allowed to reveal it so that all of Liverpool are aware once and for all that Dubai are back (well, I know they've always been there). The media will also be onto it.

Sorry if thats how it looked but actually i was defending the fact that he got the last take over wrong as they were/are lots of different conflicting stories flying about and even Elisha Scott who many regard as a good source said we were getting took over.

Tom Hicks has not come to his sense though as he has always been willing to sell for the right price, todays events with Man City have made the price Dubai were willing to offer and the price Hicks wants come a little closer together.

It is a consortium based in Abu Dhabi which aren't usually backed by their royal family, but the royal family are backing them on this one.

So if Sheikh Mohammed takes over Liverpool, there will be two Premier League teams owned by countries.

if it is the swf of abu dhabi then everybody is ****ed...i think they have enough cash that if they divvied it up between all the emirates they every man woman and child would go home with 17 mil each ( the fact that the dhs is pegged to the dollar probably means thats closer to 20 mil) if it is just a consortium that is aphiliated to the abu-dahbi funds....then i'm not sure. there are a lot of state backed companies that have a lot of wealth, but also share holders..unlike a true swf like sheikh mo.....

Good i am glad to hear this as i am sure they will be well pissed that their rival has bought a club and will do what they want to do with liverpool. Hopefully their pride will be a bit hurt and they will come in and buy us now.

David Bond of The Telegraph just replied this to me "The Arabs have never gone away, they have always been there Rashid, but the situation with Hicks and the other guy hasn't changed since the Man City takeover or after the recent stadium finance issue as far as I am aware. I will keep my eye on it".
