The police have spoken to him about that as you are not allowed to drink alcohol in view of the pitch. He claims he thought it was a non-alcoholic beer!

Apparently he'd also been in various casinos & lost £5m on a single bet the night before...

I can't stand that man, the way he tries to adhere himself to the fans by sitting in the crowd

I was hopign NUFC would have bought somebody "big" this season, love the way they have 60'000 work-shy Geordies turn up for a player unveiling

It would be like chucking 2 fish in a sea of piranhas - they would get rinsed.

It's not confirmed yet though, I'll post more as I find out.

Is Matthew Broderick ok with this? Does he even know?

Off topic but you can drink beer in the stands whilst watching Rugby but not whilst watching football.

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan has been holding talks with the Magpies board as speculation mounts over his future, BBC Radio Newcastle understands.

Reports have suggested that the 56-year-old has been unhappy with the club's policy on transfers.

Their only business on transfer deadline day was a £5.7m swoop for Spanish striker Xisco and the loan signing of midfielder Ignacio Gonzalez.

Keegan made a dramatic return to Tyneside in January.

                                More soon. BBC
